Nursing Services

The Nursing Department is responsible for providing care to patients and their families while utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from years of continued education. The Nursing Department at CMC models their nursing care based on the Theory of Human Caring, developed by Jean Watson.

The nursing process at CMC endeavors to provide the highest level of care through evidence-based practice. We deliver personalized nursing care while maintaining a culture of collaboration, competence, compassion, and communication. The nursing staff continually strives for improvement and excellence in all areas to provide effective, efficient, quality care in each patient’s stay.

Patient care is provided by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LVN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and other nursing support employees.
Patient care is accomplished through the execution of the nursing process, education for patient and family, fair and equitable management, quality improvement, and ongoing implementation and revision of nursing standards.
