Job summary:
- A minimum of 6 months clinical work experience/mental health experience preferred.
- Possess the required health, knowledge and skills to assist in preparation and service of assigned patient and staff food items.
- Speak, read, and write in English.
- Nutrition related knowledge including various therapeutic diets and associated modifications including, but not limited to CCHO, Renal, Mechanical Soft, Vegan, Cardiac preferred.
- Basic knowledge with Microsoft Word.
- Familiar with and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements relating to activities carries out by the Registered Dietitian. Specifically, in assessing patients in response to an ordered consult, recommending appropriate dietary interventions.
- Maintain employee/patient confidentiality according to HIPPA guidelines.
- Date and label food accordingly, utilize FIFO when getting new/putting away product.
