This position performs high quality nuclear medicine procedures requested by a licensed physician. Instructs, educates, and prepares patient for exam. The Per Diem Nuclear Technologist will demonstrate proficiency in safely administering Isotopes and demonstrates proficiency in radiation safety.
- Performs high quality nuclear medicine studies.
- Instructs, educates, and prepares patient for exam.
- Performs daily QC and monitoring of Nuclear Medicine department
- Keeps accurate records to comply with state and national guidelines.
- Demonstrates knowledge of injection protocols.
- Assesses patient before, during and after procedure.
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CHLB/CMC, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CHLB/CMC in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
