Job Summary:
The Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide patient care on an as-needed basis, filling in for staffing vacancies as required. Responsibilities include assisting patients with a variety of physical and medical-surgical needs, supporting activities of daily living, and participating in social and recreational programs to promote optimal patient well-being during their stay. This position requires flexibility, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Shift Schedule: Day Shift
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate; one year of CNA experience preferred.
- Experience operating medical equipment and handling biohazardous waste.
- Proficient in taking vital signs and identifying and promptly reporting changes in patient condition.
Job Specifics:
- Participate in routine patient care activities tailored to the needs of the assigned unit’s population.
- Perform delegated care tasks efficiently and accurately under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LVN.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patients at all times.
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse or appropriate staff.
- Complete the CNA section of daily documentation and progress notes within required timeframes.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, additional compensation may be available for CHLB/Glendora Hospital roles, such as shift differentials and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for this position is a reasonable estimate that ranges from the lowest to the highest pay CHLB/Glendora Hospital, in good faith, believes it might pay for this job based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Pay: $23.00 per hour
