Job Summary
The Medical Surgical Staff Nurse coordinates staff and patient care activities during a specified shift. Provides professional and technical skills to ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene and the protection of a specific patient population in the provision of patient care. The RN is able to provide bedside care, assessments, and administer medication and treatments to patients according to treatment plans. Utilizing the information gathered from assessments and the patient, a treatment plan will be created for the patient. This position does see a lot of Psych patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current RN license, BLS for healthcare provider, within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) within 30 days of hire.
- Current CPI certificate or within 30 days of hire.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
