Job Summary:
College Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist responsible for preparing and educating patients for CT examinations, ensuring all studies are performed according to established protocols, and operating CT imaging equipment proficiently and safely. This role includes assessing and monitoring patients throughout the procedure while consistently demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and respect. The CT Technologist will perform all functions essential to the efficient operation of the CT department, contributing to a welcoming, patient-centered environment and supporting high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Job Qualifications:
- Current California State Certification in Radiologic Technology (CRT) (Required)
- Current California Fluoroscopy Permit (Required)
- ARRT Certification in CT (Recommended)
- Venipuncture Certification (Required)
- Two (2) years of CT experience (Preferred)
- Three (3) years of acute care hospital experience (Preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification for healthcare providers (Required)
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
Job-Specific Duties:
- Instruct, educate, and prepare patients for CT procedures
- Apply knowledge of specific preparation protocols for all CT exams
- Operate CT equipment and related workstations according to established protocols
- Perform venipuncture for contrast administration as required
- Assess patients’ conditions before, during, and after examinations
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
- Demonstrate courteous, compassionate, and respectful behavior at all times
- Adhere to departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Maintain equipment in accordance with quality control standards
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in the electronic medical record

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, additional compensation may be available for CHLB/Glendora Hospital roles, such as shift differentials and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for this position is a reasonable estimate that ranges from the lowest to the highest pay CHLB/Glendora Hospital, in good faith, believes it might pay for this job based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
