Available Services
The Emergency Department at College Medical Center is a 7-bed, Level 3 Emergency Medical Service Department. In addition, the following specialists are available on-call and by referral:
- Family Practice
- Internal Medicine
- General Surgery
- Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Urology
- Psychiatry
- Orthopedics
Visiting Guidelines
Each patient is allowed one visitor. Due to special situations in the ED setting, family members may be asked to remain in the waiting area, or the number of visitors may be limited. Visitors in the patient care area are asked to remain at the bedside. Our staff will make every effort to keep family members and friends informed of your condition and treatment after consent is given by the patient.

The Emergency Department (ED) provides a full range of services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is a paramedic receiving facility.
At College Medical Center, we know an emergency can happen when you least expect it. Our entire team of emergency–trained physicians and experienced staff, work diligently to provide high-quality, compassionate care to all our patients, always striving for the highest customer satisfaction.
All patients in our Emergency Department are prioritized according to the severity of their injury or illness. A patient that may arrive after you and has a higher degree of severity condition, will be taken into the treatment area sooner based on their severity. This is common practice and we appreciate your patience. We want to assure you we will see you as soon as possible.
In addition to a full range of emergent medical services and urgent care needs, College Medical Center’s Emergency Department also offers on-site psychiatric evaluations.
