Biography
I earned my medical degree from the Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmacie de l’Université d’État d’Haïti and later completed a Master of Public Health at The George Washington University. My background in both medicine and public health has shaped my interest in understanding how social determinants and health disparities influence mental health outcomes.
Growing up and training in Haiti exposed me to the significant challenges surrounding access to mental health care, which inspired my commitment to improving psychiatric services for underserved communities. These experiences continue to guide my interest in addressing mental health disparities and expanding access to care.
My professional interests include public psychiatry, community mental health, and the intersection of population health and psychiatric care. While I am particularly interested in public psychiatry, I remain open to exploring different areas of psychiatry as I continue my training.
