Biography
Dr. Medina received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine. During his training, he developed a strong interest in psychiatry and the complexities of human behavior and mental health.
Dr. Medina has participated in more than 60 clinical trials, primarily focused on disorders of the central nervous system. His work has included involvement in both Phase I and post-marketing studies, contributing to the advancement of new and emerging treatments in psychiatry.
Along with his fellow residents, he recently published an article on the newest edition of Exceptional Parent Magazine highlighting the importance of diagnostic tools, research, and early intervention for stuttering.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Medina enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. He is an avid sports fan who enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring new places whenever he can. He is also a proud foodie and is always on the lookout for the next great restaurant or hidden gem.
