Join our dynamic Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team as a Registered Nurse and make a meaningful difference in the lives of critically ill patients of all ages. Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of ICU experience is required
  • Current California RN license
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (required upon hire)
  • CPI certification and ACLS card (required within 30 days of employment)
  • One year of prior clinical experience in critical care nursing within an acute care facility (preferred)
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, ventilators, hemodynamics, vasopressor drip administration, and EKG monitoring

Job-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough biophysical and nursing assessments of critically ill patients
  • Administer IV fluids, medications, and blood products according to physician orders and protocols
  • Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status
  • Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and other life-support equipment
  • Initiate and manage continuous infusions of vasoactive medications
  • Provide comprehensive patient and family education regarding treatment plans and progress
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop, adjust, and execute patient care plans
  • Document all care provided and communicate changes in patient condition promptly and accurately
  • Maintain current knowledge of best practices and regulatory standards in critical care nursing

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, additional compensation may be available for CHLB/Glendora Hospital roles, such as shift differentials and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for this position is a reasonable estimate that ranges from the lowest to the highest pay CHLB/Glendora Hospital, in good faith, believes it might pay for this job based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
