Job Summary

The residency Program Coordinator will be responsible for accurate and timely maintenance of Resident academic records and maintain resident’s files to ensure all necessary medical documentation and licensure are present and up to date as well as complete credentialing/residency release verifications for current and past physicians.

  • Manage the annual evaluation process of residents, office staff, faculty, and program directly involved with resident education
  • Develop a thorough knowledge and use of the ERAS national database for residents
  • Organize the annual recruitment of residents

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an acute care hospital Post Graduate Medical Education Department.
  • High school diploma or GED certificate required.
  • Preferred Bachelors’ degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Business Management or Communication Relations.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of government compliance, rules and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)
  • Working knowledge of Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) National Resident Ranking Program

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CHLB/CMC, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CHLB/CMC in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.89 – $41.11 per hour
